Powerful photographs

 In this picture, a firefighter gives water to a koala during the devastating Black Saturday bushfires that burned across Victoria, Australia, in 2009. The Black Saturday bushfires were a series of bushfires that were burning across the Australian state of Victoria touched directly and indirectly many millions of people in the State, across Australia. One hundred and seventy-three people died, thousands of homes and other dwellings were destroyed and over 400,000 hectares were burnt.

This picture had an impact on me, it is such a touching picture that warmed my heart, and I could feel the emotions through it.

First thing I noticed and put my eyes on is the koala, his face conveys a multitude of emotions, maybe pain, sadness, or happiness because someone has found him and helped him.

The most highlighted part of this picture is the firefighter because of his bright orange suit and also, the water bottles compared to other colors in the background of the picture are tending to dark and grey (burned trees), which tell us that it was such a big fire and it was a miracle that this koala had survived. 

Assignment 8

Road Trip

Last summer I and two of my friends decided to go on a road trip for some fun and to get to know new places from San Antonio to Dallas, the distance between them is about 4 hours, but we decided to make stops in different places between San Antonio to Dallas so our total trip with all stops took 2 days for the whole trip.

We headed from New York to San Antonio, where our road trip started firstly we rented a car then we drove about 8 min and then we stopped at River walk where we stay for about 2 hours, the river is a public park and it is such an important part of the city's urban fabric and a tourist attraction in its own right.  We had a launch in a BBQ restaurant and then we finally hit the road.

The weather was such amazing it was 25 degrees and a bit windy. Our first stop was Austin (The capital of Texas) which has some interesting attraction, we decided to stay all day here so we can visit some of them. Firstly, we checked out the world-famous Congress Bridge Bats, it was simply a marvel. Then we took a Splash with Austin Duck Adventures, which is one of the first tours to show visitors around town. The tour starts at the Austin Visitor Centre at the corner of 4th and Red River in downtown Austin. It drives along 6th street, up Congress where you get great views of the Texas Capitol and then on to Lake Austin where you drive straight into the water and float around before heading back. It was such an amazing experience we did on this trip. we enjoyed a sunset on Top of mount Bonnell before we checked in a hotel where we could stay until the next day.

In the morning, we left the hotel and continued our trip to Dallas which took about 3 hours of driving. finally, we arrived at our destination and it was such a nice day here in Dallas, we took a walk in the city´s coolest new urban green space, where we snap gorgeous photos, ate in the most famous restaurant there, and then we enjoyed walking around the city before its time to get back to New York, we drove all they back to san Antonio without making any stops, and then we headed back to New York. It was such an awesome experience we had ever done and of course decided to do a similar road trip again.

         Oliver

Oliver is a 10 years old boy. He has beautiful brown eyes, short black hair, and he is kinda tall and thin and he wears glasses.  He is a shy and nice person. He is socially awkward, basically, he can't talk to people without making himself stupid. He's a very good friend who is a good listener, you can tell him anything comes in your mind or if you are feeling down. Even so, he doesn't have many friends but he's a great person in person. Oliver lives in a big apartment located in new york. Inside the apartment looks like modern, it has a comfy couch, white walls and outside the apartment where cars on the streets and people are it.

Oliver may not be the most outgoing person due to his social awkwardness, but that doesn't bother his best friend Kiara, the girl from next door. Kiara herself can't speak, so she uses sign language. Oliver is trying to learn to understand her better, so he visits the library often to learn new signs from picture books. These two have been inseparable since Kiara moved next door eight years ago.

Oliver and Kiara are going to eat lunch outside. It's a big achievement for Oliver to go have lunch outside the house. Oliver and Kiara are heading to the place called the yummy's food. Oliver has heard a lot of the yummy's but haven't gone there because of his social awkwardness. Oliver is happy to have a friend like Kiara because now he has the courage to do stuff.

Oliver is about to leave the house in ten minutes. He has been choosing the clothes and doing his hair for hours to look good. While Oliver is waiting for Kiara´s mother to pick him up he has a weird feeling. Oliver opens his phone and recognizes that he has got a message from Kiara. He opens the message and unfortunately, Kiara says that she won´t be able to come. Oliver is so angry and sad. He is about to cry because he has been waiting for the whole day to go out with Kiara. Oliver is extremely disappointed, but then he starts to think with reason. There must be a good reason why Kiara couldn't come. He breathes calmly and sits down. He decides in his mind that, he will ask from Kiara next time he sees her, that why she could not make it. Oliver soon says the hell with her. He'll . just ask Sophia who lives from 2 blocks away to go instead. Sophia is just as pretty and just as smart as some Kiara chick. They both went together to eat food and had a great time together while Kiara was stuck at home doing some boring Kiara stuff.

Late evening, Will and Morgan sitting in the car, while Chuckie is driving them home, everyone is quiet and they staring through the windows while it is raining and the atmosphere is calm. They arrive at Will´s home, Chuckie drops him off got and drive away.

Professor Lambeau and Tom arrive at the building and grounds office in search of will´s name, they look through the window and then get into it, where there are two workers in their work clothes sitting around the table.

   The chimpanzee recognizes faces like human
  The ability seems to be inherited from a common ancestor.

Human understands the faces faster and in a different way than other species. previously this has only considered as a feature of ours, but now its turned out, that also chimpanzees recognize faces human effectively.
The japanizes Masaki Tomonago and Tomoko Imura made this case clear when they taught three females chimpanzees to look for example cars, bananas, and faces among other images. The Chimpanzees found the faces of their own species quicker than other images.

In the human, face recognition is based out on a quick perceiving the whole picture, and the same seems to be valid for chimpanzees as well.
Just like humans, chimpanzees perceived faces considerably worse, when the picture was turned upside down. also covering eyes, nose and mouth slowed the performance.
Instead of changing the picture into black and white did not disrupt face recognition.
chimpanzees found bananas as fast as faces, which caused a headache for the researchers.
However, the quick recognition of the fruit was not the same as recognition of the whole picture like in face recognition.
When the pictures were changed to black and white, the bananas seem to get lost. The easy recognization of the delicacy was due to the yellow color.


Human win macaque

Surprisingly Chimpanzees spotted human faces as easy as the faces of their own species. The phenomenon is hardly explained by how the test animals had a lot of things to do with their caretakers. They poorly recognized the faces of  Japanese macaque, even though this species of monkey lives in an adjacent cage. Chimpanzees react to the human babies' faces faster than to macaque`s faces, even though they have never met the babies.
Was it either about human or individual of their own species, chimpanzees recognized the faces better from the picture was taken from in front than the picture was taken from the side. This suggests that eye contact is one factor, that brings faces into chimpanzees consciousness. similar has detected on human. These results are worth taking into consideration when considering the improvement of social intelligence.  Both species might capitalize the information, that comes from the faces in social life in the same way.
Tomonag a researcher in Kyoto university, institute of primate research, has estimated it in his research bulletin.

once upon a time, there was a thirteen-year-old girl named Alice, she lived in Amerika with her mother after her father passed away. At only 9 years old, she had her own phone, which she kept it in her hand all day, also she had a tablet and most of her time spent in the house with them Like most children in her generation. One day her grandmother, called Alice and asked her to go shopping with her because she was tired and want someone to go with her. Alice said to her mom, she got ready, put her headphones on and her mom called the taxi to pick Alice up to her grandmother house, that she lives in suburbs.
When the taxi arrived Alice got in it and the taxi left her by the suburbs, she was upset because she had less to walk to until she got there.
 while she was walking, she saw a man running towards a car like he escaped from something, he got in the car and drove fast. Alice continued walking and when she got to her grandmother's house, the door was open, everything was destroyed, the clothes were thrown on the floor, the table was broken, the jewelry thrown on the floor looked like a fight had taken place and she found out that her grandmother was not at the house. At that moment a man was passing by the house, Alice was freaking out she stopped the man and told him what`s happened. The man asked Alice if she saw something strange so she remembered the man who was running away, she told the man about it. He said that he is probably the thief, that wanted to steal her grandmother's house and then he probably kidnapped her. They decided to call the police, after 3 days the police found the thief and the kidnapped grandmother. Alice was very happy because they found her grandma.
after that Alice´s mother, decided to take her mom to live together because it is safer. So the grandma moved to her daughter house and lived happily there.

The ingredients for a good text:

• identify the purpose of your text 
• identify the main part

How to start writing a good text

Firstly for a good text start with a plan, plan your text about what you going to write, what is the purpose of your text and so on. I think the plan it’s a good start and will help you outline the whole text, and don't forget to collect information about your topic. After that write a title, which is, in my opinion, an important part from your text that will attract the reader and give him an idea about what the text is going to be about.

Next step write the introduction and it’s important to get to the point and move on to the main 

Part and you can outline the most important parts in your text in it that you will represent in your main part.

After you are done with the introduction, move on to the main part and start to tell about using the idea and the information you have collected. In the end, write the conclusion and don't forget to keep it simple😀

                                   A day with my friend

It was a day I will never forget when I have met my athlete friend that I have not seen her for 5 years. she came all the way from England to meet up. It was just unbelievable to see her after that long time. After I picked her up from the airport, she decided to go to the gym to train because she never misses a day without training, and for sure I went with her, between I have not been never to the gym. We went there and she started training and I was like you should try something so I started to do a pull-up bar and it was not a good idea, it was way hard for me, so I decided to start a fitness journey and I ended up register in the gym. After she finished her training, we were starving so we decided to go somewhere to eat, on our way to the restaurant, I was talking with her while I was driving, all of sudden there was a cat crossing the street I did not see her and accidentally I run over the cat and she died, we took her to buried it. while I was digging I hit my thumb by mistake and I started to crying, it hurt a lot and it took me a long time to calm down. when we finished we continue our way to the restaurant, we arrived and ordered the food and it was such a delicious food we could not stop eating until we could not even move so we decided to go the longest stairs on my city and work out there we went and we started jumping up down to burn the calories until we got so tired. we have made a decision to go somewhere to relax. we went to my flat and while I went into the door my friend called me and, she called us to have a cup of tea in her house, which is far 5 km from my flat we went there and we knocked the door but she didn't open it, I started to bush the bell many times so she can hear us after ten minutes she opened it she was taking a shower and she apologized to us. After we drank the tea and had such a great conversation about our childhood it was the time to go home. we decided to go home on feet because it was not that far, we walked about 20 min.  we arrived at my flat finally and we made popcorn and put a movie to watch while we were watching my friend went to the kitchen to drink water she called me, I went to check her she was trying hard to take a glass from the shelf because she is way short so she could not get it, I helped her and gave her the glass. when the movie end, we had nothing to do and we were bored, we ended up in the park playing football and we kept on playing and kicking the ball until we got tired and went back home straight to the bed.
